Emerald Bee Interiors partnered with the client to personalize a new construction K.B. Home, transforming the builder’s selections into a cohesive design with dark academia influences. The home reflects the client’s love of science fiction and travel through rich colors, layered textures, and curated art. A new rounded entry archway, custom paint, full-height kitchen tile, and thoughtful furnishings create a moody yet inviting space that feels intelligent, personal, and refined.

Emerald Bee Interiors transformed this new build by Gehan Homes (later Brightland Homes) into a personalized modern craftsman residence layered with William Morris–inspired patterns and custom millwork. Designed as the client’s retirement home, it balances beauty and longevity through continuous flooring, discreet grab bars, and thoughtful functionality. The result is a cohesive, timeless design that unites craftsmanship, comfort, and character.

Designed with distinct “his” and “hers” sections, custom cabinetry depths, and movable rolling ladders, the layout maximizes storage while maintaining architectural harmony. Period-inspired detailing, coordinated finishes, and thoughtful functionality create a refined, cohesive space that’s both practical and elegant.

This full-service project reimagined a farmhouse-style home through a phased approach that balanced thoughtful updates with lasting design impact. Bold jewel tones, warm grays, and green grasscloth wallpaper brought new layers of color, contrast, and texture throughout. Existing investment pieces were thoughtfully integrated with updated furnishings, artwork, and lighting to create a cohesive flow.

Emerald Bee Interiors collaborated with influencer and musician Tiffany Houghton to establish a cohesive design direction for her new construction home. Working within brand and affiliate-linking constraints, we developed multiple design concepts refining the primary bedroom and dining room. The project balanced feminine inspiration with her family’s preferences, while also providing hands-on move-in staging and styling support.

Emerald Bee Interiors provided end-to-end support for this Shaddock Homes new-construction build, guiding the client from early planning through move-in. The finished home was styled with existing furnishings, custom window treatments, and thoughtfully arranged gallery walls. A hand-painted rainbow mural in the daughter’s bedroom adds a joyful, personalized touch.
